I graduated from the University at Albany with a Bachelor's in journalism. I am knowledgeable in AP style and photography, understand the basics of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, and have edited both audio and video projects.

I have been an intern Albany County's PR desk, the Albany Times Union, and WAMC Northeast public radio. I have published articles on a variety of topics, from tiny sensors used to detect greenhouse gases to the making of an independent film about Alzheimer's disease. My work can be found on my own blog, the Enterprise's website, or a few websites I've worked on.

I cover the Helderberg Hilltowns in Western Albany County, New York, for the newspaper the Altamont Enterprise. The Hilltowns are a rural community made up of four towns and one school district. Issues range from preserving historic character of towns, to restoring businesses, to rural poverty. Before this, I covered the slightly more suburban town of New Scotland for the same paper.
